The Cedar Lane Church at 9601 Cedar Lane is holding a “Green-In” this Saturday, October 20th from 4 until 9 PM.
There will be something for everyone at Cedar Lane’s first-ever Green-IN, so mark your calendars.
Hybrid car demonstrations…Art display…fifty exhibitors highlighting products and services to reduce global warming, and promote environmentally sustainable living…For kids…scavenger hunt…nature collage…Chris Mauro’s drums…Culkin School of Irish Dance…Kids under 10, please bring an adult…Dinner…bring organic or locally grown dish to share…Hokum Martini Jazz Band…Pete Moss & The Bog Band…Karen Ashbrook’s hammered dulcimer……Musical, “My Island in the Bay” by Cedar Laners…Poetry…Keynote speaker Lise van Susteren, one of the first fifty persons trained by Al Gore to give global-warming slide show based on Academy Award-winning documentary, An Inconvenient Truth…Prizes donated by exhibitors.
